Is the 2019 Buick LaCrosse a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Buick LaCrosse earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, reliable performance, and low maintenance costs, and many also call out its value for money and ride quality. That fits well if you want a roomy, plush sedan with a quiet ride and a low-key luxury feel rather than something built around image or driving excitement. With 26.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Buick LaCrosse reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback highlights reliable performance, low maintenance costs, and a car that owners feel good about keeping over time. That combination suggests the LaCrosse can be a sensible used buy if you want a sedan you can count on without chasing a more complicated ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been cared for properly, since condition matters more when you’re shopping a model with limited inventory.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Buick LaCrosse?

At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or other red flags. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, because a well-kept LaCrosse is more likely to deliver the comfort and value that make this model appealing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Buick LaCrosse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value if you move on the right car.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.56% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,460, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Buick LaCrosse's resale value?

The current average of $18,460 sits slightly below last year's $19,970.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point, but it also means future resale gains may be limited unless the market strengthens. If you plan to sell later, a clean history and strong condition will matter a lot, especially because buyers in this segment tend to compare carefully on value and upkeep. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Buick LaCrosse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 26.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the LaCrosse nameplate with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used price, the 2019 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with older model years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2019’s stronger market position and updated feel.
