Is the 2019 Buick LaCrosse a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Buick LaCrosse earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, reliable performance, and low maintenance costs, and many also call out its ride quality and handling as standout strengths. If you want a large sedan with a quiet cabin and a roomy, upscale-feeling interior, this model year fits that use case well. With 30.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Buick LaCrosse reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliable performance, low maintenance costs, and a trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers. That combination suggests you can count on this sedan for steady daily use if the specific example has been cared for properly.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about the condition of the individual car you choose.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Buick LaCrosse?

At 69.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of body panels, paint consistency, and interior wear, since condition can vary meaningfully from one listing to another. Because this model was positioned as a comfort-focused sedan, you should also pay close attention to how well the cabin, electronics, and ride quality have held up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Buick LaCrosse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 117 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,306, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Buick LaCrosse's resale value?

The current average of $18,306 sits slightly below last year's $20,145.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. Because the LaCrosse is a discontinued large sedan, resale demand may be narrower than for more mainstream body styles, so condition and mileage will matter a lot when it is time to sell. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who want comfort and a traditional sedan layout.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Buick LaCrosse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the last year of Buick’s large sedan with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used-car price than a year ago, the 2019 is the primary path to consider. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it carefully with other years and similar sedans, since this model’s appeal is strongest when you value comfort and space over the lowest possible purchase price.
