Used 2019 Buick LaCrosse for Sale near Douglas, GA
In 2017, Buick unveiled its third generation LaCrosse, which introduced a new styling direction for the brand. Therefore, the 2019 Buick LaCrosse receives only minimal updates as it enters the new model year.
The Buick LaCrosse embodies the traditional American full-size sedan, emphasizing comfort, luxury, and effortlessness from its stylish interior to its distinctive look. Buick has even added two new flattering exterior shades for 2019, Carrageen Metallic and Dark Shadow Metallic. Inside, the padded, premium interior makes the most of the car’s large dimensions.
Buyers also have two powertrain options. The base arrangement powers the front wheels with a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed automatic transmission, which are paired with an electric motor and small battery for a mild-hybrid arrangement that Buick calls “eAssist.” System output is 194 horsepower and 197 pound-feet of torque, and fuel economy is rated at 25 miles per gallon city, 35 highway, and 31 combined.
Buyers looking to take it up a notch can upgrade to a 3.6-liter V6 engine and 9-speed automatic transmission, which make 310 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque. Preferred, Essence, and Premium trims offer the V6 while Avenir makes it standard. Essence and above can also be equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD). The larger engine achieves 21 miles per gallon city, 30 highway, and 26 combined. Avenir also offers a Dynamic Drive suspension with larger wheels, additional driving modes, and an advanced front HiPer Strut suspension.
The LaCrosse comes in the same five trims for 2019: Base, Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir. Base is impressively equipped with standard features like 18-inch alloy wheels, HID headlights with LED daytime running lights, 4G LTE connectivity, 8-way power adjustable front seats, a frameless 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, USB ports, and an 8-speaker audio system. The 2019 model also adds an electronic parking brake.
Stepping up to Preferred gets you a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, Sirius XM radio, and a built-in cargo net. Essence takes things up a notch with leather upholstery, heated front seats with memory, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and adaptive headlights. Premium tacks on a heated front steering wheel, massaging front seats, a heads-up display, and a new cabin ionizer.
Avenir, the flagship trim of the lineup, comes with unique exterior elements like gloss black mesh grilles, exclusive interior accents and colors, and badging. It also adds navigation, a Bose surround-sound system, a panoramic power moonroof, a power sunshade, and exclusive 19-inch wheels.
In the realm of safety, the LaCrosse offers plenty of standard features: a reversing camera, rear backup sensors, and Teen Driver, which allows parents to view extensive reports on their teens’ driving behavior and limit certain features. The optional Driver Confidence I package adds lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Driver Confidence II tacks on adaptive cruise control, automatic parking assist, forward automatic braking, and front pedestrian braking. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) tested the LaCrosse in its debut year for crashworthiness, where it received excellent scores and a Top Safety Pick designation.
The Buick LaCrosse is the modern American sedan with plenty of style, class, comfort, and power, making it a great fit for just about anyone.
