How much does the 2019 BMW X3 cost?

Prices have softened 8.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,940 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 BMW X3 a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.8/5, which is a strong signal that you’re looking at a well-liked used SUV.

Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, comfortable ride, advanced features, and high-quality interior. That lines up well with the X3’s role as a compact luxury SUV that still gives you sporty, carlike driving feel and everyday practicality.

With 37.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive price if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 BMW X3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable ownership experience overall, with praise centered on the comfortable ride, strong performance, and high-quality cabin. That said, some owners mention minor issues and the cost of optional features, so you should expect luxury-car ownership to come with higher upkeep than a mainstream SUV.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is not just mileage but how well the vehicle has been maintained and whether expensive options or repairs have been managed properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 BMW X3?

At 72.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden damage or repair quality issues. Focus closely on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of wear that could point to past accidents or deferred maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 BMW X3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,940 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.91% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,022, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 BMW X3's resale value?

The current average of $18,022 sits slightly below last year's $19,784.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean slower appreciation if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition so you preserve as much value as possible.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 BMW X3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,902, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $18,022 average.
• It offers the appeal of a fully redesigned third-generation X3.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall market balance, the 2019 is the better starting point. If your priority is saving a bit more upfront, the 2018 is the more price-sensitive path and still gives you the core X3 experience.
