How much does the 2019 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 5.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 720 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Acura TLX a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Acura TLX earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxury feel, strong performance, and high safety features, and many also like the value it offers compared with other luxury vehicles. That makes it a good fit if you want a premium sport sedan with a more engaging personality than many mainstream sedans, especially if you’re considering one with the A-SPEC package. With 32.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive price.

Is the 2019 Acura TLX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers also describe it as reliable and comfortable, with comments that point to dependable day-to-day ownership and a car you can count on over time. For used buyers, that kind of feedback suggests lower ownership anxiety, though you should still verify maintenance history and overall condition before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Acura TLX?

At 57.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and pay close attention to any accident, title, or repair records. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, panel alignment, interior wear, and how the car drives at low and highway speeds. Because the TLX’s appeal depends on refinement, you’ll want to make sure the cabin, electronics, and mechanical feel all match the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Acura TLX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 720 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,141, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $20,288 sits slightly below last year's $21,411.

That softer pricing suggests the TLX has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right number today. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain the car well, you may be better positioned when it’s time to resell. Demand should also benefit from the model’s strong owner satisfaction and premium-badge appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $18,087, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $20,288 average.
• It adds a refreshed look and a stronger A-Spec focus.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $21,922, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $20,288 average.
• It leans harder into driver-focused performance with SH-AWD appeal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a strong mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current-market availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the smarter budget path; if you want a pricier step up in driving character, the 2020 is worth a look.
