Used 2018 Toyota Sequoia for Sale near Indiana

How much does the 2018 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 286 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Toyota Sequoia earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a large, truck-based three-row SUV built for buyers who wanted durability, towing ability, and family space in one package. The refreshed 2018 model also added a new front end, Toyota’s SafetySense driving assistance features, and practical seating for up to eight passengers depending on the second-row layout. For you, that means this is a strong fit if you want a full-size SUV with a rugged character and everyday family utility. With 37.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2018 Toyota Sequoia’s appeal comes from its truck-based construction, fully boxed frame, and long-running 5.7-liter V8, all of which support its reputation for toughness. Toyota also added useful safety equipment for this model year, including a blind spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert, which adds to its everyday usability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core powertrain and more about finding a well-maintained example that has been cared for consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Toyota Sequoia?

At 56.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and maintenance patterns before you commit. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, signs of prior repair, and any wear that comes from the Sequoia’s size and truck-like use. Because this is a large, body-on-frame SUV, condition matters a lot more than mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota Sequoia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when you find a strong example.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 286 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,048, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $33,689 sits slightly above last year's $33,405.

That small increase suggests the market has remained stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For you as a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to predictable demand and less risk of sudden value drops. The Sequoia’s full-size SUV format and reputation for toughness help keep it relevant with buyers who want space and capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the refreshed Sequoia with its updated front end, added safety tech, and the same rugged full-size SUV formula, the 2018 is the primary year to target. If your priority is simply finding the lowest entry price, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but you should still focus on condition, history, and maintenance above all else.
