How much does the 2018 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices are up 1.81% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 1,722 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2018 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Generally — the 4.2/5 user rating points to a car that satisfies most shoppers, and the review summary backs that up with praise for great gas mileage, reliability, and ease of driving. Buyers also consistently value its comfortable interior and overall value, which fits the Corolla’s practical, everyday-use focus from the overview. If you want a straightforward compact car that emphasizes low running costs and simple ownership, this model year fits that brief well. 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2018 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary specifically highlights reliability, and drivers also describe the car as easy to live with over time. That combination suggests the Corolla is the kind of used car you can count on for steady daily use, especially if you prioritize low-stress ownership and efficiency.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how well a specific example has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Toyota Corolla?

At 46.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. Then put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, paint consistency, and signs of poor repairs, since those issues matter more when accident history is common. You should also focus on overall wear and maintenance records, because a clean-looking car can still hide neglect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market: there is enough inventory to shop carefully, but the best-priced examples can still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,722 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.81% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 46.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,506, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $14,481 sits slightly above last year's $14,224.

That upward move suggests the market still sees value in this Corolla year, which can help support resale strength if you buy well and keep the car in good condition. The combination of steady demand and a broad shopper base is useful when it comes time to sell, especially for examples with clean history and strong maintenance records.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 46.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.81% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,987, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $14,481 average.
• It added standard Safety Sense P and more standard safety equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2018 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2017 is the more budget-friendly alternative and still brings meaningful safety upgrades.
