Yes — 4.69/5 is a strong user rating, and it lines up with the way owners describe this car’s appeal. The review summary repeatedly points to the performance and driving experience, with praise for the powerful flat-6 engine and precise handling. It also highlights how the car feels rewarding on both regular roads and tracks, while still fitting the role of a comfortable touring sports car. That kind of feedback suggests the 2018 911 has the sort of dependable character buyers want in a high-end sports car, even if ownership costs remain part of the equation. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying a premium for a car that may have been driven hard, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report on every candidate, because a clean listing percentage does not replace documentation. Put inspection priority on signs of hard use, especially if the car has been driven like the performance machine it is. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and whether the car’s wear matches its mileage and asking price.

Should I buy a 2018 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 34.91% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.69/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, market demand, and broad appeal, the 2018 is the primary year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby year may give you a lower entry price, but you should expect to trade off some of the market momentum that makes this year especially compelling.
