Why it stands out
The 2018 Kia Stinger marks a significant evolution for Kia, establishing it as a serious player in the performance car market. This four-door sports car combines stylish design with high performance, featuring a base engine of a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 255 horsepower or an optional 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 with an impressive 365 horsepower, both paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Stinger’s aggressive styling, reminiscent of classic European grand touring cars, commands attention on the road.
Inside, the cabin is luxurious, equipped with high-quality materials and a user-friendly infotainment system. Standard features include Bluetooth connectivity, heated seats, and an impressive sound system. The Stinger also offers ample trunk space, making it practical for everyday use, unlike many competitors in the performance segment. While some drivers express concerns about fuel economy, particularly with the more powerful engine, the overall performance, technology, and comfort make the Stinger compelling for buyers seeking a unique blend of sportiness and elegance.

Love love my car! The only thing about the car that I dislike is that the 2018 year makes it so I have to plug in my phone to turn it into Apple CarPlay. It doesn’t automatically connect without the cord.

The stinger is great sports car it spunky and very, very responsive even without being in sport mode. If your decision is to modify your engine for more power your gonna need to upgrade your car from brakes and rotors to intake, spark plugs and etc, that’s how Kia kept the price point so low they gave you a basic starter kit. Also you can take your time getting mods it’s already pretty fast stock !

Pros: -Quality interior (Leather seats, heated seats, leather and dual stitching throughout, ambient lighting) -Good technology (touchscreen with Kias UI, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, or Bluetooth) -Great driving and safety features (ACC, LKA, EBS, etc.) Looks stylish -Sporty (Good HP and torque numbers) Cons: -Wired Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Wireless would be preferred. -Trunk rattle. Can be easily fixed with a bigger washer and YouTube tutorial.
