Used 2018 Kia Soul for Sale nearSavannah, GA

How much does the 2018 Kia Soul cost?

Prices have softened 2.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 975 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Kia Soul a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Kia Soul earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability and great value for the price, and many also like its enjoyable style and features. That fits the Soul’s use case well if you want a distinctive subcompact hatchback with a roomy cabin and everyday practicality. With 28.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Kia Soul reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliability, and it also describes the Soul as a great value for the price. That combination suggests you can count on it to be a sensible used-car choice if the individual vehicle has been maintained well. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is buying a neglected example, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Kia Soul?

At 53.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any promising listing. Focus on overall condition, especially signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or poor repairs. It also makes sense to pay close attention to the practical annoyances owners mention, since those can affect your day-to-day satisfaction.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Kia Soul?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 975 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,977, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Kia Soul's resale value?

The current average of $10,161 sits slightly below last year's $10,458.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become a bit easier to buy, which can also temper future resale gains if you plan to sell later. On the other hand, the Soul’s strong owner satisfaction and practical appeal help support steady demand from used shoppers. If you keep the car in good condition and avoid examples with accident history, you should be in a better position when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Kia Soul or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $8,820, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $10,161 average.
• It emphasizes distinctive styling over mainstream value.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced buy, the 2018 is the stronger primary path because it combines solid owner satisfaction with a reasonable market price and decent deal availability. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the secondary path to consider, especially if you find one in strong condition and can live with its more value-driven positioning.
