How much does the 2018 GMC Yukon cost?

Is the 2018 GMC Yukon a good car?

Generally — the 4.3/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the Yukon’s comfort, spaciousness, and luxurious feel, and they also highlight its roomy cabin and substantial presence. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a large family hauler with a premium-feeling interior and plenty of passenger space. With 33.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a vehicle that many owners found dependable and trouble-free enough to recommend, especially for comfort and everyday use. That said, some drivers mentioned condition-related concerns in specific cases, so a used example can vary a lot from one listing to the next. For long-term ownership, your risk is less about the model’s overall appeal and more about how well a specific vehicle has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 GMC Yukon?

At 66.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage or other red flags. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of wear in the cabin, suspension, and other high-use areas. Because condition can vary, focus on maintenance records, accident history, and how the vehicle presents in person rather than relying on photos alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 GMC Yukon?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,748 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.04% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,183, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $24,183 sits slightly below last year's $27,492.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the softer current pricing means your future resale will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the vehicle is documented. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because the Yukon’s size and comfort remain appealing to used-SUV shoppers.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
