Used 2016 GMC Yukon for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2016 GMC Yukon cost?

Prices have softened 8.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,444 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — the 4.71/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the Yukon’s spaciousness, strong horsepower, smooth ride, and user-friendly features, and the overview shows why it works well if you want a roomy family hauler that still feels polished and comfortable. It also stands out for its upscale-feeling cabin, modern infotainment, and useful convenience features, even if it is not the best choice for fuel economy. With 33.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a value-oriented example.

Is the 2016 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a vehicle that many people find dependable in everyday use, with repeated praise for its comfortable driving experience and strong performance. That said, some owners mention tire-condition concerns, so you should pay close attention to wear items and maintenance history on any used example. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a poorly maintained truck rather than the model itself.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 GMC Yukon?

At 60.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you go any further. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to bodywork, tires, and signs of uneven wear or repair quality. Because condition varies across the market, focus on examples with clean records and consistent maintenance rather than simply chasing the lowest price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 GMC Yukon?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,444 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.48% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,581, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $19,581 sits slightly below last year's $21,395.

That price movement suggests the Yukon has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal as a large family SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a full-size SUV with strong owner approval, a roomy cabin, and a market that has become more favorable, the 2016 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can broaden your search to nearby years, but the 2016 offers a compelling mix of value, satisfaction, and inventory depth that makes it the best starting point.
