Used 2018 Dodge Challenger for Sale nearOklahoma City, OK

How much does the 2018 Dodge Challenger cost?

Prices have softened 4.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,632 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 4.71/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the Challenger’s performance, style, and comfort, and they also highlight its powerful engine options and roomy interior. For you, that means this model year fits especially well if you want a distinctive American coupe that still works as a practical five-passenger daily driver. With 29.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a meaningful share of attractive pricing in the market.

Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes that the Challenger can be dependable and trouble-free over time, especially when you value its strong performance and comfort. That said, long-term ownership risk for used buyers still depends on how well the car was maintained and whether wear items have been addressed.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Dodge Challenger?

At 56.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, signs of repair, and overall mechanical wear. Because this model can be bought in many performance configurations, you should also focus on how the specific car was used and whether its condition matches the seller’s description.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Challenger?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,632 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,572, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $22,775 sits slightly below last year's $23,935.

That softer pricing suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy a well-kept example at a sensible price so you have less depreciation left to absorb. Strong condition and clean history matter especially here because they help your car stand out in a crowded used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $20,594, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $22,775 average.
• It leans hardest into retro muscle-car style with a distinctly old-school personality.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around balance of current pricing, broad inventory, and high owner satisfaction, the 2018 is the better primary choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you value its more overt retro character.
