Used 2018 Dodge Challenger for Sale near Colorado

How much does the 2018 Dodge Challenger cost?

Prices have softened 5.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,638 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and conditions.

Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 4.71/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, style, and comfort, and the roomy interior helps it work better as an everyday coupe than many muscle-car rivals. The user-friendly Uconnect system with touchscreen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay also adds to its appeal if you want a car that feels more practical than its looks suggest. With 29.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback highlights strong performance, comfort, and a style that keeps the car appealing over time. The same feedback also points to a few recurring drawbacks, including heavy weight and fuel efficiency, but those are more ownership tradeoffs than signs of poor durability. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is finding a car that was neglected or abused, so condition matters as much as mileage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Dodge Challenger?

At 56.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can screen for accidents, title issues, and inconsistent ownership records. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on cars that may have been driven hard or modified. Focus on overall condition, maintenance evidence, and signs of abuse rather than assuming every Challenger has been treated the same way.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,638 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,417, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $22,802 sits slightly below last year's $24,199.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if the market stays cool. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter more because buyers will have plenty of comparable listings to choose from. A well-kept example should still hold attention better than a neglected one, especially in a model line where appearance and ownership history strongly influence demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $20,472, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $22,802 average.
• It leans harder into retro muscle-car character.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around shopping case, the 2018 is the better primary target because it combines solid owner satisfaction, a softer price trend, and decent deal availability. If your main goal is to spend less up front, the 2017 is the better secondary path, especially if its retro personality appeals to you and you can live with the older-year tradeoffs.
