How much does the 2018 Chrysler 300 cost?

There are 712 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the spacious interior, comfortable ride, and upscale feel, and many also like the available all-wheel drive for added confidence in snowy conditions. For you, that makes this a strong fit if you want a roomy, comfortable sedan with a premium character and useful everyday features. With 27.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful shopping opportunity.

Is the 2018 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers highlighting the car’s durable feel, comfortable daily use, and confidence in all-wheel-drive versions during poor weather. That kind of feedback suggests you can count on it for long-term use if you choose a well-kept example. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s core durability and more about finding one that has been maintained properly over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chrysler 300?

At 52.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden body, suspension, or electrical issues. Focus closely on overall condition, service records, and signs of prior repair quality, especially if the car has had any accident history. Because this is a large sedan with a premium feel, you’ll want to make sure the cabin, electronics, and drivetrain all match the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 712 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,693, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $14,859 sits slightly below last year's $15,830.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to stay competitive on asking price. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect your resale position. A clean history and good maintenance records matter even more when the market is already showing some price pressure.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $14,030, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $14,859 average.
• It offers a broader trim and powertrain spread with strong luxury appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping target, the 2018 is the stronger primary choice because it combines solid owner satisfaction with a softer price trend and decent deal availability. If your main goal is to spend less upfront, the 2017 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one with a clean history and the features you want.
