Used 2018 Buick Envision for Sale nearGreensboro, NC

How much does the 2018 Buick Envision cost?

Prices have softened 6.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 560 listings available, which gives you a moderate amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Buick Envision a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, safety, spacious interior, and luxury features, which fits the Envision’s role as a compact luxury SUV that aims to feel more upscale than mainstream rivals without jumping to true luxury-brand pricing. That makes it a sensible choice if you want comfort, equipment, and a premium feel in a practical package. With 35.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a value-oriented example.

Is the 2018 Buick Envision reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback highlights safety, a smooth ride, and a generally satisfying ownership experience, with some drivers also noting the vehicle felt like a good deal. The recurring praise for comfort and day-to-day livability suggests this is the kind of SUV many owners can count on for steady use over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the overall ownership experience and more about making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been well cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Buick Envision?

At 65.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Put inspection priority on body condition, signs of cosmetic repair, and anything that could affect visibility or cabin comfort. Since owners mention minor design flaws and cosmetic marks, focus on the specific vehicle’s condition rather than assuming every example will feel the same.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Buick Envision?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 560 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,890, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $14,890 sits slightly below last year's $15,982.

That price movement suggests the model has softened in the used market, which can limit near-term upside if you plan to sell soon. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help you buy in at a more favorable point, especially if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years. Because the Envision has solid owner satisfaction, it should remain appealing to shoppers who want a comfortable, well-equipped compact SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $16,827, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $14,890 average.
• It offers a more upscale-feeling interior and stronger luxury appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2018 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer-feeling luxury presentation, the 2019 is the better secondary path.
