How much does the 2018 BMW 7 Series cost?

There are 507 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 BMW 7 Series a good car?

Generally — the 4.31/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the powerful engine, luxurious interior, smooth ride, and excellent performance, and many also feel it delivers good value compared with similar luxury vehicles. For you, that makes it a compelling fit if you want a full-size luxury sedan with comfort, technology, and a sporty edge. With 32.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 BMW 7 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 4.31/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that many people find dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its smooth driving experience and strong performance. At the same time, some reviewers mention concerns about engine issues and repair costs, which is a reminder that long-term ownership risk can be higher if you buy without a careful inspection and a strong warranty plan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 BMW 7 Series?

At 60.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a full vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you get too far into the process. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially because repair costs can be high on a luxury sedan like this. Focus closely on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the car has been maintained consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 BMW 7 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 507 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.96% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,915, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $22,942 sits slightly below last year's $24,658.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of depreciation. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who want a luxury sedan with strong performance and a premium cabin.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.31/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.31/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2018 is a strong choice if you want a full-size luxury sedan with a good mix of performance, comfort, and technology, especially if you can find one with clean history and a price near the lower end of the range. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, history, and asking price rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
