Used 2018 BMW 4 Series for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2018 BMW 4 Series cost?

Prices have softened 4.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 906 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 BMW 4 Series a good car?

Yes — the 2018 BMW 4 Series earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its quality, performance, luxury features, smooth ride, sporty handling, and useful tech like the sound system and navigation. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a premium two-door coupe or convertible with a distinctive shape and a sporty feel rather than a conventional sedan. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 BMW 4 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with repeated praise for quality and a trouble-free feel in day-to-day use. That said, used luxury cars can carry higher long-term ownership risk if maintenance has been deferred, so you should prioritize service history and condition over mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 BMW 4 Series?

At 54% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then focus your inspection on bodywork, panel alignment, and signs of prior repair. Pay close attention to the convertible’s practicality and interior condition if you are considering that body style, since owners note limited trunk space and comfort concerns for taller drivers. A pre-purchase inspection is especially worthwhile on a premium model like this, because condition can vary widely from one listing to the next.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 BMW 4 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 906 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,216, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 BMW 4 Series's resale value?

The current average of $17,350 sits slightly below last year's $18,090.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well, keep the car in strong condition, and preserve service records so the car stands out in a competitive used-luxury market. Demand should remain steadier for well-kept examples with the right equipment and a clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 BMW 4 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong choice if you want a well-liked, well-equipped luxury coupe or convertible and you can verify condition carefully. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price.
