How much does the 2018 Audi A5 cost?

There are 215 listings available, which gives you a modest pool to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi A5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its elegant design, impressive handling, and advanced features, and many also like the roomy interior compared with competitors. The model’s premium feel and broad usability fit well if you want a stylish luxury car that still works for everyday driving. With 42.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a solid chance of finding a compelling offer.

Is the 2018 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with praise centered on the car’s refined driving character and upscale features. The same reviews suggest it can be a trouble-free choice when you start with a well-kept example, especially if you value a car you can count on for daily use. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is buying a neglected car, so condition matters more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi A5?

At 64.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a shop that knows luxury cars. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the car has been maintained consistently. Because some listings have accident history, you’ll want to be especially careful about panel alignment, paint matching, and any evidence of poor-quality repairs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A5?

It looks like a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping carefully and comparing listings.

• Deal availability: 42.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 215 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,993, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $19,460 sits slightly below last year's $20,222.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at the lower end of the range and keep the car in strong condition, you give yourself a better chance of protecting value later. Demand should stay supported by the model’s premium image, but resale will still depend heavily on condition and history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 42.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong choice if you want the second-generation A5’s broader body-style lineup, premium cabin, and favorable pricing environment. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a slightly newer or older example gives you a better combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
