How much does the 2018 Audi A4 cost?

There are 1,024 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi A4 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its performance, comfort, and technology, and many describe it as fun to drive thanks to its smooth handling and sporty feel. The cabin also gets credit for being a good value in the luxury segment, especially if you want a premium-feeling sedan that still works well for everyday use. If you’re shopping for a well-rounded compact luxury sedan with a modern feature set, this model year fits that brief well.

37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2018 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its trouble-free ownership experience, smooth driving character, and overall confidence over time. That kind of response matters if you want a used luxury sedan you can count on rather than one that feels fragile or overly complicated.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how well a specific example has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi A4?

At 59.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on bodywork quality, panel alignment, and signs of incomplete repairs. It also makes sense to pay close attention to interior condition and feature operation, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on comfort and technology working as intended.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find value.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,024 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,574, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $15,660 sits slightly below last year's $16,795.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the car in strong condition, because a lower entry price can help protect your position later. Well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones, especially in a segment where buyers care about features, condition, and overall presentation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,484, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $15,660 average.
• It offers a redesigned, forward-looking take on the A4.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around used-car value, the 2018 is the better primary target because it combines a lower current average price with strong owner satisfaction and a healthy deal pool. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and can live with its older feature mix.
