How much does the 2018 Acura RDX cost?

There are 1,063 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 Acura RDX a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the comfortable ride, luxurious interior, and strong performance, and many also value the advanced features and overall sense of getting a lot for the money. For you, that makes this a compelling choice if you want a practical luxury crossover with a comfortable daily-driving setup and family-friendly usability. With 34.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value to be found in the market.

Is the 2018 Acura RDX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers describing the RDX as comfortable, well-equipped, and a vehicle they feel good about keeping over time. That kind of praise matters because it suggests the model has earned trust beyond the initial purchase. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about broad owner dissatisfaction and more about finding a well-maintained example with a clean history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Acura RDX?

At 65.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of past repairs so you can avoid paying strong money for a compromised example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,063 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.38% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,040, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $17,235 sits slightly below last year's $18,024.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you choose a clean, well-kept example, you may have a better chance of limiting your own loss when it comes time to sell. Strong demand for a comfortable, well-equipped luxury crossover can also help support values, especially for listings with good history and condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.38% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $22,096, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $17,235 average.
• It brings a full redesign with a more premium feel and a turbocharged powertrain.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer redesign, the 2019 is the stronger upgrade path; if price matters most, the 2018 remains the smarter buy.
