Used 2017 Toyota Tundra for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2017 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have softened 1.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,544 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of trucks to compare.

Is the 2017 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Toyota Tundra earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its power, reliability, and roomy interior, and many say it feels worth the price for its features and performance. For you, that makes it a sensible fit if you want a full-size pickup with a straightforward, work-ready character and a reputation for holding up over time. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes reliability, and it also points to a truck that many drivers trust for long-term use. That said, some owners mention wear and tear, so you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition on any used example. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a truck that has been worked hard without the upkeep to match.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Toyota Tundra?

At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, frame and underbody condition, and signs of uneven wear that could hint at harder use. Because this is a truck, you should also focus on how well the truck has been maintained rather than just the odometer reading.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Toyota Tundra?

This is a moderate market, so you can buy now if the right truck shows up, but you should still compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,544 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 55.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,203, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $28,301 sits slightly below last year's $28,857.

That small decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may slightly temper what you recover later as a seller. Even so, the Tundra's strong reputation for durability and owner satisfaction helps support demand in the used market. If you keep the truck in good condition and maintain it well, you should be in a better position when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $25,139, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $28,301 average.
• It adds practical updates like a more modern infotainment setup and an integrated brake controller.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2017 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and availability. If your budget is tighter, the 2016 is the better value path, especially if you find one with clean history and solid maintenance records.
