Why it stands out
The 2017 Toyota Corolla stands as an appealing choice in the compact car segment, known for its reliability and fuel efficiency. It boasts a reworked front end and comes standard with Toyota's Safety Sense P suite, which significantly enhances its safety profile by including features such as auto high beams, lane-departure warning, and forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection. Notably, the Corolla introduced a 50th-Anniversary trim, which includes unique styling and upgraded features, like improved upholstery and a reversing camera. However, while it earns praise for safety and comfort, some users feel it falls short with its underpowered 1.8-liter engine and basic technology offerings, which can be seen as a disadvantage compared to competitors. Overall, the Corolla appeals to buyers seeking a dependable, efficient vehicle with a solid reputation.

Good value, would have loved heated seats and electric controls for seats, but then I’ve gotten spoiled.
