What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a clean history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection from a specialist who knows the 911. Pay close attention to maintenance records, signs of prior bodywork, and overall condition, since expensive repairs can quickly outweigh a good purchase price. Because this model year can carry premium ownership costs, a careful inspection matters as much as the asking price.

Should I buy a 2017 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.66% year-over-year.
