There are 396 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Lincoln Navigator earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, luxurious interior, and impressive features like the sound system and navigation. Spaciousness is another recurring strength, with the cabin comfortably accommodating up to seven adults. That makes it a strong fit if you want a full-size luxury SUV with real towing and hauling ability, plus a more refined cabin than many rivals.

With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a well-priced example.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience overall, with praise for the smooth ride, luxurious interior, and features that continue to satisfy over time. The recurring concerns are relatively minor used-car issues, including running boards and the backup camera, rather than broad signs of trouble.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks manageable if you focus on examples with clean maintenance history and fully working equipment.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Lincoln Navigator?

At 66.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks bodywork, electronics, and any signs of prior repair. Pay close attention to the running boards and backup camera, since those are among the issues owners have mentioned. Condition matters a lot here, so a clean, well-documented example is worth more than a cheaper one with unresolved problems.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lincoln Navigator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 396 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.34% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,842, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $15,842 sits slightly below last year's $17,868.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face some pressure if prices continue to ease. If you buy at the right number and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value later. Clean history and well-documented maintenance should matter more than ever in a segment where condition can vary widely.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $26,237, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $15,842 average.
• It brings a sharper redesign with a more distinctive, modern look.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2017 is the smarter starting point because it combines strong owner satisfaction with a much lower average price. If you care more about newer styling and are willing to pay a premium, the 2018 is the better alternative. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2017 offers the more compelling balance of luxury, space, and market value.
