This year, there’s a new model in the mix, and it’s the first Civic Hatchback Honda has sold in the U.S. since 2005. With its extra cargo space and sport-oriented tweaks, it’s aimed squarely at the stereotypical Civic buyer: someone who wants a practical, fun-to-drive compact car.
I spent a week putting a Civic Hatchback Sport through it’s paces—from stop-and-go commuting to a highway slog with a hatch full of cargo—and enjoyed every minute. While any Civic is a safe bet, the Hatchback offers even more to love.

Very Economical and stylish reliability is there to provide you with your daily driving
The features on this car is something else. The car has a blind spot camera on the right mirror. Hondas are a really reliable car. We’ve had a Honda until it had 300k+ miles on it and had no problems. Only thing I wish it had was a GPS but it’s not a huge negative. I was looking at either the Mazda3 hatchback or the civic hatchback and ultimately went with the civic just with the sleek design of the vehicle. Super smooth in its driving and would definitely recommend going Honda!
Mechanically the vehicle is sound. In over 80k miles in 5 years I have had no issues. However cosmetically they have major issues. The paint tends to flake off. Primer and all. What ever bonding process Honda used at the factory didnt work and now my vehicle has several spots where the paint is flaking.
Amazing car. Drives smooth. Lots of interior space. Definitely recommend.
