Used 2017 Ford Fusion for Sale nearSaginaw, MI

How much does the 2017 Ford Fusion cost?

Prices have softened 9.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,783 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Ford Fusion a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Ford Fusion earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth ride, comfort, and solid performance, and many also like the variety of features you get for the money. If you want a midsize sedan with a polished feel, roomy cabin, and a practical everyday layout, this model year fits that use case well. With 29.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2017 Ford Fusion reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a car that many owners find dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, especially when it comes to comfort and overall ownership experience. That said, used-car reliability always depends on how the specific vehicle was maintained and driven, so a careful inspection still matters. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying a car with hidden wear or deferred maintenance rather than a model with weak owner sentiment.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Ford Fusion?

At 57.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on the suspension, brakes, tires, and any electronics you plan to rely on every day. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, because the best used example will usually be the one with the cleanest history and the most consistent care.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Ford Fusion?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,783 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.90% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,111, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Ford Fusion's resale value?

The current average of $10,111 sits slightly below last year's $11,222.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For future resale, the key will be how well you preserve condition and documentation, because cleaner examples tend to hold buyer interest better. If you buy carefully now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Ford Fusion or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $11,660, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $10,111 average.
• It offers a broader lineup with more variety across basic, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, luxury, and sport-oriented versions.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2017 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you want more lineup variety and are willing to pay more, the 2018 is the stronger secondary path for buyers who prioritize choice over price.
