For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but condition and maintenance history still matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report so you can confirm accident status and ownership background before you get too far into the process. Focus on how the car was maintained and whether it shows signs of hard driving or deferred upkeep.

That price movement suggests the Corvette is holding demand well, which can help support future resale strength if you buy carefully. Strong condition and clean history will matter most when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 4.60% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $54,754, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $57,765 average.
• It offers a more dramatic, statement-making design.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around shopping picture, the 2017 is the better primary target because it combines solid owner satisfaction, decent deal availability, and a healthy accident-free share. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2016 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
