Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 4.27% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $54,736, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $57,735 average.
• It emphasizes dramatic styling and a major interior update.

The bottom line:
The 2017 is the better all-around pick if you want the stronger current-market balance of demand, satisfaction, and inventory depth. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2016 is the more price-sensitive alternative and still delivers the core Corvette appeal.
