Used 2016 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 3.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,063 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.94/5, and our experts give it 8.5/10. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its exceptional performance, strong value for money, sleek design, and modern interior features. That lines up with the Corvette’s role as a statement-making sports car, especially if you want something that feels dramatic before it even moves. The tradeoff is that the source material also points to a car focused heavily on performance and image, so if you want a broader spread of features, you may find the available options less expansive than you’d like.

Good and great deals account for 34.9% of listings, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.94/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels exceptional, dependable, and worth counting on for the long haul, with repeated praise for its performance and value. The expert material also emphasizes that the Corvette’s powertrain is built to deliver serious speed while remaining composed in everyday driving, which supports the sense that it’s engineered to be more than just a weekend toy. The basic ownership package includes remote start/stop, vehicle diagnostics, and maintenance notifications for five years, which adds some convenience early in ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability and more about how the car was treated, since a performance model like this can be expensive to sort out if it was driven hard or neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report and then focus your inspection on signs of hard use, cosmetic wear, and any evidence of poor upkeep. Because this is a performance car, condition matters as much as mileage, and a clean-looking listing can still hide abuse or deferred maintenance. Pay extra attention to the cabin, the tires, the brakes, and any signs that the car has been modified or tracked.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT packages separate the Corvette’s comfort and convenience content, and the base setup is the most stripped-down. The 2LT adds heated and ventilated seats, curb-view cameras, Bose audio, and a heads-up display, while the 3LT adds leather surfaces everywhere, Napa leather seating, navigation, and the Performance Data Recorder. If you want the best value, the 2LT is the sweet spot for many shoppers because it adds meaningful everyday usability without jumping all the way to the top package.
• Powertrain: The Corvette uses a 6.2-liter pushrod V8 with strong low-end torque and a 7-speed manual or 8-speed automatic. The engine’s direct injection and cylinder deactivation add a bit of efficiency between bursts of power, and the automatic is described as especially adept at keeping the car in its sweet spot.
• Safety package: The Corvette comes standard with four airbags, side-impact airbags, a protective cell, four-wheel antilock brakes, automatic seat-belt pretensioners, and electronic stability control. Higher trims add front- and rear-facing cameras to help with parking and backing out.
• Infotainment: Dual 8-inch screens anchor the cabin, and Chevrolet MyLink includes phone, audio, and navigation when equipped. Apple CarPlay is included this year, with Android Auto to follow later, and OnStar adds connected features such as turn-by-turn directions, vehicle information, and emergency assistance.
• Fuel efficiency: The V8 is described as having a “whisper of fuel efficiency” thanks to cylinder deactivation, but it still uses premium fuel and has an 18-gallon tank that you’ll likely fill often.

Which 2016 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2016 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Corvette experience with the least amount of extra comfort equipment. Choose it if you care most about the driving experience and want to keep the purchase price down.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds heated and ventilated seats, curb-view cameras, Bose audio, and a heads-up display. It’s the trim to target if you want a more livable Corvette without paying for the top package.
• 3LT: This is the most luxurious version, with leather surfaces everywhere, Napa leather seating, navigation, and the Performance Data Recorder. It makes the most sense if you want the most upscale cabin and the most complete feature set.

Higher trims add front- and rear-facing cameras to help with parking and backing out.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Chevrolet Corvette?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,063 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $54,074, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $54,736 sits slightly below last year's $56,554.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations if the market stays soft. The year-round range shows there is still some spread between the low and high end, so condition, trim, and equipment will matter when it’s time to resell. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than rougher cars with fewer options.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.94/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The Chevrolet Corvette has not been rated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The Corvette comes standard with four airbags, including side-impact airbags and a protective cell, along with four-wheel antilock brakes, automatic seat-belt pretensioners, and electronic stability control. Higher trims add front- and rear-facing cameras to help with parking and backing out. Visibility is limited because of the car’s low stance and small windows, so you should pay close attention to sightlines during a test drive.

Should I buy a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.94/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2016 stands out for its updated interior, stop-traffic styling, and performance that can challenge cars costing far more when properly equipped.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the right pick if you want the Corvette’s updated cabin, standout styling, and serious performance at a price that has eased a bit from last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, shop carefully for a clean, well-equipped example and prioritize condition over chasing the lowest sticker.
