Why it stands out
The 2017 Acura TLX is truly a compelling option in the compact luxury sedan segment, seamlessly blending performance and comfort. It replaced both the TSX and TL sedans to provide buyers with multiple engine options: a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a more powerful 3.5-liter V6, catering to different driving preferences. The TLX stands out with its excellent handling capabilities, making it fun to drive while also providing a smooth and comfortable ride. Owners appreciate the vehicle's ability to navigate bumpy roads effortlessly, although a few have noted transmission issues, particularly in eco and normal driving modes. Overall, the 2017 TLX represents a strong balance of luxury and functionality that appeals to a variety of buyers looking for a reliable sport sedan.

Very responsive especially in sport+mode and shift manually. All wheel drive sticks to the road. Abosb bumpy roads like a champ. The brakes can use some improvement though. The transmission will hesitate in eco and normal mode. Just use sport and sport+ and itll take care of it. Although you can totally tell the difference in ride quality in each mode. 25 mpg all around for a V6 is not too bad. Very quiet interior. The upgraded sound system sounds better with Spotify than FM (with subscription gives you higher quality streaming). Would love to have Android Auto for Google Maps, but not offer till 2018. Wish we can retrofit the software. But overall, very happy with its value, performance and comfort.
