I drove down to the Carmax dealership and took a test drive in the car. The entire experience was entirely friendly and stress-free. After I selected the car the sales rep even promised to ship it to a different Carmax dealership for free. While I was waiting for the car to ship, he silently sold it to a different customer without letting me know about it after just 2 days. Apparently there was a "glitch" in the system which allowed the sale to go forward even after I reserved it. Ultimately, I do not trust the dealership to keep the cars you like even after you reserve it. "
