Yes — the 2025 Volvo S60 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows a compact luxury sedan that leans into Volvo’s core strengths: safety, comfort, high-quality cabin materials, and superb build quality. It also stands out if you want a more understated alternative to the usual German luxury sedans, with a cabin and seating comfort that remain signature strengths. Is the 2025 Volvo S60 reliable?

The overview emphasizes Volvo’s safety focus, strong build quality, and a cabin designed around comfort, all of which are encouraging signs for used-car shoppers. Standard City Safety and available Pilot Assist features also reinforce the car’s reputation for thoughtful engineering. For a used buyer, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the car’s core character and more about making sure the specific example has been well maintained and properly inspected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Volvo S60?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still review the history report carefully and confirm that the car’s condition matches the listing description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the cabin electronics, safety systems, and overall wear, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on its comfort, technology, and build quality. Focus on signs of careful ownership, because a clean, well-kept example is the one most likely to deliver the experience you want.

What is the 2025 Volvo S60's resale value?

The current average of $35,047 sits slightly above last year's $32,285.

That upward move suggests the market is still willing to pay more for this model year than it did a year ago. For a future seller, that can be a positive sign because it points to steady demand rather than a softening market. The S60’s combination of comfort, safety, and distinctive luxury appeal should help it remain attractive to used buyers who want something different from the usual choices.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Volvo S60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 8.55% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want the latest version of this S60 formula and you value its comfort-first luxury character, strong safety focus, and solid owner satisfaction. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth a look, especially if you can find a cleaner example at a lower price.
