Why it stands out
The 2016 Hyundai Tucson distinguishes itself in the competitive small crossover SUV segment with its appealing design and thoughtful interior. The complete redesign has resulted in enhanced cargo space and available safety features that elevate its practicality. Buyers will appreciate the Tucson’s renowned reliability, backed by Hyundai's exceptional warranty, providing additional confidence in this vehicle's long-term upkeep. Notably, if you opt for the higher trims, you’ll find features commonly reserved for luxury vehicles, such as premium infotainment options and advanced safety technologies. However, some drivers have reported concerns over safety and transmission issues, as well as a generic dashboard design that could detract from the overall experience. Nevertheless, the Tucson is a solid choice for those seeking style and comfort in a small SUV.

I really liked this vehicle when I took it for a test drive. The interior was clean, the original owner's manual was available, and it drove very smoothly. I wasn't able to test it at highway speeds because I was in a School Zone. I definitely would have bought it, but I couldn't justify the need for it. Some lucky person will snatch it up, I'm sure.

Worst car Ive ever owned. 3 out of 4 doors stopped working (couldnt open or close them), leaks oil, transmission overheats when backing up an incline slowly, AC died after 80K km, Im just waiting for the transmission to fail as that is a well know problem and car jerks or doesnt move upon initial acceleration. DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Consumer Reports gives reliability as 1 out of 10 (likely only because you cant give zero)

I think this car is a very good for its price, the interior is so good. Only issue so far, is that the fuel consumption is quite high.
