What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid?

At 59% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can buy now if the right listing appears, but you should still compare options carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 161 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $8,458, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $9,888 sits slightly above last year's $9,841.

That suggests the market has been stable, which can help support resale confidence if you keep the car in strong condition. If you buy well and maintain it carefully, you may be better positioned to recover value later than if you overpay for a higher-mileage or poorly documented example.

Should I buy a 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a reasonable choice if you want a stable-price used hybrid and you can verify condition carefully. If you’re price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and be ready to move quickly when a clean, well-priced example appears.
