Why it stands out
The 2016 Dodge Durango stands out in the crowded SUV market primarily for its unique blend of style, performance, and practicality. With a rear-wheel drive configuration and a towing capacity of up to 6,200 pounds, it is among the top performers in its class when it comes to hauling capabilities. The introduction of enhanced features across all trims, particularly the sporty R/T, equips it with stylish 20-inch wheels, a luxurious interior with Nappa leather options, and advanced technological features like the Uconnect system. Although the base engine is a capable 3.6-liter V6 with 290 horsepower, those looking for exhilarating performance can opt for the R/T's 5.7-liter V8, which offers 360 horsepower.
In addition to impressive performance specifications, the Durango also boasts a spacious interior, accommodating up to seven passengers, and a well-designed cabin with user-friendly technology. However, it's worth noting that some safety features are only available through additional packages, which can add to the overall cost. Despite this minor drawback, buyers seeking a versatile family SUV with robust towing capability and a sporty look will find the 2016 Dodge Durango appealing.

The features are GREAT !!! I am still trying to learn them all but I am having a hard time finding the power folding exterior windows. It should also have power folding rear seating. Great vehicle, the view from the driver seat is great if you are a short person.
