Forget about Nissan’s claim that it builds a 4-door sports car. Especially in new 340i guise, the BMW 3 Series is the real deal, an actual sports car equipped with four doors, thrilling to drive under almost every circumstance, and roomy enough for you and three other people. But is a 3 Series a luxury car? That’s debatable.

I havent driven a bmw since I owned a 2006 328i (e46) back around 2011. When people say the newer bmws with electronic steering lost some road feel they are trying to he nice. My 2002 jeep grand cherokee has steering components that are back yard fabricated to allow it to turn and it feels better than this new sport model 328xi. I plan to drive another 2017 model but I have a feeling I will be just as disappointed. The steering is the only reason I did not buy this car. Everything else was great.
