Used 2015 Nissan Versa Note for Sale nearPhiladelphia, PA

How much does the 2015 Nissan Versa Note cost?

Prices have softened 3.66% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 278 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 5.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 6/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

The Versa Note is positioned as an affordable small hatchback with practical space for groceries and passengers, but its 2015 update also adds two higher trims that push the price up. That makes it a more mixed value proposition than a pure budget pick, especially if you want low-cost transportation without giving up too much utility.

27.0% of listings are marked as good or great deals, so you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Versa Note’s appeal is rooted in familiar, mainstream use and a simple gasoline setup, which can make it easier to live with than more complex alternatives. Its expert evaluation also points to a car that prioritizes basic transportation and efficiency over driving excitement.

The 1.6-liter engine and CVT are straightforward, but the car’s noisy powertrain and inconsistent steering response suggest you should pay close attention to how a used example has been maintained and driven.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Nissan Versa Note?

At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been in any collision. Focus on body alignment, tire wear, steering feel, and whether the car tracks straight under braking and at highway speeds. Because this model’s value proposition depends heavily on condition, a clean, well-kept example matters more than a lightly equipped one.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S trim keeps things simple with a 5-speed manual, while higher trims add a CVT and more equipment. The SR trim brings 16-inch unique alloys with black inlays, sporty front and rear fascias, chrome fog lamps, side skirts, a rear spoiler, unique headlamps, and integrated-signal mirrors, but it also pushes the price up enough to weaken the car’s affordability advantage.
• Powertrain: All trims use a 109-hp, 1.6-liter engine. The base S uses a 5-speed manual, while every other trim gets a CVT and active grille shutters for better fuel economy.
• Safety package: The standard safety equipment includes front, side, and curtain-side airbags, antilock brakes, traction control, and stability control. The available Around View Monitor adds a 360-degree parking guidance system on SL trims, but that feature is not part of the lower trims.
• Infotainment: Without the Convenience Package, you get a CD player with USB and Aux inputs, steering-wheel-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, remote keyless entry, and a trip computer. The Convenience Package adds NissanConnect with a 5-inch display, a rear-view camera, satellite radio, and streaming Bluetooth audio. The Tech Package on SL trims increases the screen to 5.8 inches, adds touchscreen capability and navigation with voice control, and includes the Around View Monitor.
• Fuel efficiency: The Versa Note is rated at 31 mpg city/40 highway and an advertised 35 combined.

Which 2015 Nissan Versa Note trim should I buy?

The 2015 Nissan Versa Note is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SR, SL.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the simplest way into the Versa Note, and it’s the only trim with the 5-speed manual. If you want the lowest-friction ownership experience and don’t care about extra tech, this is the most basic choice.
• SV: This trim adds the CVT and the core convenience of the lineup without jumping all the way to the more expensive appearance-focused trims. It’s the best-value choice if you want the Versa Note’s practical side without paying for extras you may not use.
• SR: This trim adds the sportier exterior treatment, unique wheels, and the Convenience Package content shown in the test vehicle, but the added cost weakens the car’s affordability story.
• SL: This is the most feature-rich trim, especially if you want the Tech Package with the larger touchscreen, navigation, voice control, and Around View Monitor.

The safety equipment is standard across the lineup, but the more advanced parking and navigation tech is reserved for higher trims and packages.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Nissan Versa Note?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 278 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $6,635, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note's resale value?

The current average of $6,871 sits slightly below last year's $7,133.

That downward move suggests the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. A clean history and good maintenance will matter more than trim level when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note safe?

The 2015 Nissan Versa Note earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, with three-star performance for frontal crashes.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes front, side, and curtain-side airbags, antilock brakes, traction control, and stability control. The available Around View Monitor adds a 360-degree parking guidance system on SL trims, which can help with low-speed maneuvering.

The main caveat is the lower frontal-crash result, along with the expert concern about inconsistent steering response and stability-control intervention. That means you should pay close attention to how the car feels on a test drive, especially if you’re shopping for family use.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Versa Note or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 adds SR and SL trims that bring more sport styling and tech than the prior year.

Consider the 2014 if:

• It is a practical, efficient, and space-smart hatchback suited to city driving and commuting.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year lineup with more trim variety and you can find a clean example at the right price, the 2015 is the better target. If your priority is straightforward practicality and you’re shopping on a tighter budget, the 2014 remains the more sensible value play.
