Used 2015 Nissan Versa Note for Sale near Pennsylvania

How much does the 2015 Nissan Versa Note cost?

Prices have softened 5.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 302 listings available, which suggests you should have some room to compare prices and condition.

Is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Nissan Versa Note earns a 5/5 user rating and a 5.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 6/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

It fits best if you want an inexpensive, practical hatchback with useful cargo and passenger space, but the added SR and SL trims push the price up and weaken the value case. The expert evaluation also points to a car that is more about basic transportation than driving enjoyment.

The market shows 23.2% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some negotiating leverage if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The expert evaluation describes the Versa Note as a popular cheap car to own, but it also flags enough drawbacks to make the ownership case less compelling than some rivals. Its 1.6-liter engine is efficient, and the car’s economy-focused setup helps it deliver the kind of low running costs many used buyers want.

If you’re shopping used, the main long-term risk is that a bargain price can be offset by a less satisfying ownership experience if you prioritize refinement, power, or driving confidence.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Nissan Versa Note?

At 61.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been in a prior collision. Focus on body condition, alignment, and how the car drives at highway speeds, since the expert evaluation raises concerns about steering consistency and stability-control behavior.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S trim is the most affordable and uses a 5-speed manual, while higher trims add a CVT and more equipment. The SR adds unique 16-inch alloys, sporty fascias, chrome fog lamps, side skirts, a rear spoiler, unique headlamps, and integrated-signal mirrors, but the expert evaluation suggests it does not add enough to justify the higher price for many shoppers.
• Powertrain: All trims use a 109-hp, 1.6-liter engine. The CVT is standard on every trim except the base S, and the car is described as efficient but slow, with 31 mpg city and 40 highway cited in the expert evaluation.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes front, side, and curtain-side airbags, antilock brakes, traction control, and stability control. The expert evaluation also notes that the systems can intervene more than expected, and the car’s crash performance includes a four-star overall rating from NHTSA with a three-star result in frontal crashes.
• Infotainment: Without the Convenience Package, you get a CD player with USB and Aux inputs, steering-wheel audio controls, Bluetooth phone connectivity, remote keyless entry, and a trip computer. The Convenience Package adds NissanConnect with a 5-inch display, a rear-view camera, satellite radio, and streaming Bluetooth audio, while the SL Tech Package increases the screen to 5.8 inches, adds touchscreen capability, navigation with voice control, heated side mirrors, and Around View Monitor.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert evaluation cites 31 mpg city and 40 mpg highway, with an advertised 35 combined.

Which 2015 Nissan Versa Note trim should I buy?

The 2015 Nissan Versa Note is offered in 4 trim levels: S, S Plus, SV, SR.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the value-first choice if you want the lowest entry price and are comfortable with the 5-speed manual. It keeps the car simple and affordable, which matters because the expert evaluation says the newer trims erode the Versa Note’s low-price advantage.
• S Plus: This trim adds equipment over the base model while staying closer to the budget end of the lineup. It makes sense if you want a little more convenience without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it balances added equipment with the Versa Note’s core appeal as a practical commuter. It is the trim to target if you want more comfort and convenience without paying for the sportier appearance upgrades.
• SR: This is the style-and-tech trim, with unique wheels, sporty exterior details, and available convenience and tech upgrades. Choose it only if you specifically want the added appearance and equipment, because the expert evaluation suggests the price increase is hard to justify on value alone.

The safety content notes the usual standard safety equipment, but also points to crash-performance and steering concerns that you should keep in mind regardless of trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Nissan Versa Note?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 302 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $6,640, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note's resale value?

The current average of $6,835 sits slightly below last year's $7,209.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the softer trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note safe?

The 2015 Nissan Versa Note earns four-star ratings from NHTSA overall, with a three-star performance for frontal crashes.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes front, side, and curtain-side airbags, antilock brakes, traction control, and stability control. The expert evaluation also flags inconsistent steering modulation and notes that the stability and traction systems can intervene even when they seem unnecessary, which is worth keeping in mind if you test-drive one.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Versa Note or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Prices have softened 5.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 adds SR and SL trims that bring more personality and tech than the prior year.

Consider the 2014 if:

• It is a fully redesigned, affordable hatchback with efficient use of interior space.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year lineup with more trim choice and you can find a clean example at a good price, the 2015 is the better target. If your priority is maximum budget friendliness and simple commuter value, the 2014 remains the more straightforward pick.
