How much does the 2014 Nissan Juke cost?

Is the 2014 Nissan Juke a good car?

Generally — the 2014 Nissan Juke earns a 4.29/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating, which points to a model that resonates with shoppers who want something different. Owners consistently praise the unique styling, fun driving experience, responsive handling, compact size, and driving modes. The Juke’s appeal is strongest if you want a small crossover with personality rather than a conventional family hauler. With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Nissan Juke reliable?

Owners rate it 4.29/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle people tend to enjoy living with, especially for its fun driving character, compact size, and distinctive personality. The expert evaluation also emphasizes that the Juke can be engaging and well-suited to buyers who value a lively, memorable daily driver. The main ownership tradeoffs are the same ones shoppers notice up front: limited cargo space and road noise can affect day-to-day usefulness.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that the Juke’s compromises may matter more as mileage and wear add up, especially if you need family-friendly space or quiet commuting.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Nissan Juke?

At 57.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of body panels, alignment, and signs of prior repair. Because the Juke’s appeal depends so much on condition and personality, you’ll want to focus on how well the car has been maintained and whether any past damage could affect long-term ownership. If you’re shopping a used example, a clean history and a thorough test drive matter more than usual.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S trim keeps things simple with keyless entry, full power, Bluetooth, and a 6-speaker stereo, while the SV adds push-button start, satellite radio, and the I-CON system for climate and drive modes. The SL adds heated seats and automatic head- and foglights, and the Navigation Package brings a 5.8-inch touchscreen, voice recognition, a rear-view camera, and real-time traffic monitoring.
• Powertrain: The Juke starts with a 188-hp, 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder with 177 lb-ft of torque. You can choose a CVT or a 6-speed manual, though the manual is paired with front-wheel drive only, while the all-wheel-drive setup uses an independent rear suspension.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes 6 airbags, antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, and active front head restraints. The safety ratings also show a 4-star overall crash rating from NHTSA, a 3-star frontal-impact result, and a Good rating from IIHS.
• Infotainment: The Navigation Package adds a 5.8-inch touchscreen, voice recognition, a rear-view camera, and real-time traffic monitoring. The upgraded audio system also includes USB connectivity.
• Fuel efficiency: The Juke is rated at 25 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, though real-world results can fall well short of that.

Which 2014 Nissan Juke trim should I buy?

The 2014 Nissan Juke is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, and NISMO RS.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the simplest way into the Juke, but it still gives you keyless entry, full power, Bluetooth, and a 6-speaker stereo. It makes sense if you want the Juke’s style and driving character without paying for extras.
• SV: This trim adds push-button start, satellite radio, and the I-CON system for climate and drive modes. It’s the best-value choice if you want a more modern-feeling cabin without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• SL: This one adds heated seats and automatic head- and foglights, so it’s the better pick if comfort and convenience matter more to you.
• NISMO RS: This is the most performance-focused version, with added power, sport suspension, larger brakes, summer tires, a retuned manual transmission, and a limited-slip front differential. It’s the right choice if you want the Juke at its most aggressive and don’t mind the tradeoffs.

The safety package includes standard airbags, stability and traction control, and active front head restraints across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Juke?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 366 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $7,362, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan Juke's resale value?

The current average of $7,691 sits slightly below last year's $8,039.

That softer pricing suggests the Juke is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly. If you own one, you may need to price competitively to move it, especially if your example has higher mileage or visible wear. On the other hand, the model’s distinctive appeal can still help it stand out from more ordinary crossovers.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.29/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 Nissan Juke safe?

The 2014 Nissan Juke earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, a three-star frontal-impact rating, and a five-star side-impact rating from NHTSA, while IIHS awarded it a Good rating.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes 6 airbags, antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, and active front head restraints. The main caveat is the weaker frontal-impact result, which is worth weighing carefully if safety is a top priority for you.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Juke or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.29/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2014 stands out for its quirky styling, engaging handling, and compact footprint.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $8,829, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $7,691 average.
• It keeps the same distinctive personality but asks you to accept more emphasis on safety-tech shortcomings.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2014 is the stronger starting point because prices are softer and the market offers a decent number of deals. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer example, the 2015 is the alternative to compare, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2014 and shop for a clean, well-kept listing.
