Used 2014 Lexus IS for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2014 Lexus IS cost?

Prices have softened 1.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 583 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Lexus IS a good car?

Yes — owners give it 4.78/5, which is a strong sign that it delivers on what shoppers want in this class. Reviewers consistently praise its sleek design, luxurious interior, comfortable front seats, and sporty driving experience. That lines up well with the model’s driver-focused setup and its appeal for buyers who want a compact luxury sedan that feels more engaging than purely practical. With 31.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding attractive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Lexus IS reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free enough to recommend, especially for buyers who value a refined daily driver. The same reviews also suggest it can be a solid long-term choice if you prioritize comfort, style, and a premium feel over maximum practicality. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden wear from prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Lexus IS?

At 41.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of body repair, uneven panel gaps, tire wear, and any issues that could affect ride quality or cabin comfort. Because owner feedback mentions occasional road noise and lower-trim power concerns, it’s smart to focus on overall condition and how the car feels on a test drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Lexus IS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 583 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 41.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,697, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Lexus IS's resale value?

The current average of $16,370 sits slightly below last year's $16,678.

That tells you the market has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the car in good condition, you can reduce the impact of that softer trend. The model’s strong owner satisfaction also helps support demand, which can make it easier to sell later than a less-liked luxury sedan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Lexus IS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 41.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $17,472, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $16,370 average.
• It sharpens the car’s sporty focus with a stronger emphasis on driving enjoyment.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2014 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to spend more for a slightly newer model and a more performance-forward feel, the 2015 is the secondary path worth considering.
