Is the 2014 Ford Taurus reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Ford Taurus?

At 57.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. It also helps to focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since those are the biggest clues to how well a used Taurus has been cared for.

Should I buy a 2014 Ford Taurus or consider a different year?

• Price trend: Prices are up 5.35% year-over-year.
