It rides really smooth and quiet. The seats are really comfortable. So far, Im getting 40 mpg average. I wish it had a backup camera and remote start, but thats not a big deal. Definitely worth the money, the gas savings alone will be huge over time.

Just got it so cant speak to reliability but loving the sleek look, gas efficiency and the extensive list of features for a car from 2014, but important to note that Fords feature packages vary from car to car and are not necessarily Trim specific

How much does the 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $8,327 |
| Year-Round Low | $8,233.64 |
| Year-Round High | $9,124.11 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $9,134 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −8.83% |
Prices have softened 8.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 139 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.
If you find a listing below $8,233.64, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
Is the 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid a good car?
Yes — owners give it 5/5, which points to very strong satisfaction with this model year. In owner feedback, you’ll see recurring praise for the great mileage, spaciousness, smooth ride, comfort, and extensive technology features. That combination suggests you’re looking at a car that appeals to shoppers who want efficiency without giving up everyday livability. 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.
Is the 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also emphasizes that you can count on the car for great mileage, a smooth ride, and comfort, which are the kinds of traits buyers often associate with dependable daily use. The repeated praise for its overall ownership experience suggests this is a model year many drivers have been happy to keep for the long haul. For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction can reduce long-term ownership risk if the specific car you choose has been well maintained.
What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid?
At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has any accident history or incomplete service records. Focus your evaluation on overall condition, maintenance consistency, and whether the car’s features and comfort items work as expected.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and comparison-shop.
- Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 139 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.83% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 56.8% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $8,233.64, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid's resale value?
The current average of $8,327 sits slightly below last year's $9,134.
That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more favorable entry point now, but it also means you should be realistic about how much value the car may hold if market prices stay under pressure. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you’ll be better positioned when it’s time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2014 if:
- 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.83% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want a used hybrid with strong owner satisfaction and a market that still offers some deal opportunities, the 2014 is a sensible place to focus. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it against nearby years and prioritize the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
