2006 Lincoln Mark LT 4WD Review
by bsabarnowl

Buster M. Lincoln Truck

I had two mid-nineties Lincoln Town Cars. I wanted a truck so I found one with low miles within an hour of my home on Car Gurus. This truck is comfortable and it meets all my needs. I am enjoying it. "@v@"

Avg. Dealer Rating: (8 reviews) "BUYER BEWARE!!! 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 4 Dr SLT 4WD Quad  Dealer's Price:$14,995 Location:Winfield, MO Mileage:222,097 miles Transmission:5-Speed ManualExterior Color:Gray Drivetrain:Four-Wheel Drive VIN:3B7KF23612M242508 Stock #:2817T I hate to give bad reviews but I'm tired of car dealers selling cars and trucks with known issues to innocent customers to foot the bill. I drove 4 hours to look at the gray 02 dodge cummins with the 5spd trans. The truck looks good minus the clear coat completely missing off the hood and roof of the truck, which I knew about before I went to look at it. What I didn't know was the fender flares are covering up the rust that has eaten through the bedsides. The signal line that runs to the Wastegate on the turbo has been cut in half and two bolts threaded in each end to keep the wastegate from opening on the turbo, causing extreme drive pressure on the turbo and extremely high exhaust gas temps. The injection pump that's going to fail soon because the lift pump is only supplying 5psi to it most of the time. You can barely keep the exhaust gas temps under 1000 degrees  as long as you keep the rpms above 2200rpm. After explaining all of the issues I have found after the test drive to the store manager, I still offered to buy the truck with cold hard earned cash - not a check or a loan - I offered 12k cash in hand cash. Since as a buyer and a diesel technician, I personally know for a fact to fix the issues with the truck will end up costing the buyer of the truck a few thousand in parts and labor. But he declined the offer and assured me someone will buy the truck how it sets and performs right know for 15k. I didn't even get a counter offer from him, and he also assured me all the issues I found are perfectly fine and the 5.9 cummins could take it. ....WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS PEOPLE SCREWING PEOPLE JUST TO MAKE A BUCK. .. It's hard for people to take some pride in their work and business these days.  "
