For the 2006, the Chevy Uplander crossover sport van got a couple new side impact airbags and an available 3.9 L, 240 hp V6 engine. The second edition of this vehicle comes in 7 trims and sports a standard 3.5 L, 201 hp V6 engine with 4 speed automatic transmission. All 7 trims have 4 doors and seat 7. Gas mileage comes out to 18 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway. Need room for some junk in your trunk? The Uplander has either 17.7 or 26.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, depending on which trim you choose. While the Uplander may look like it can tow, max capacity only amounts to about 3500 lbs. Overall, drivers like the smooth handling and cool interior features. On the other hand, a van should have at least a little more power and the side airbags don't cover all three rows. Pick up an '06 Uplander if you don't mind sacrificing a little substance for some style.

We love that the seats are oversized and comfortable. It wasn't difficult to fit any car seat in the vehicle and the latch system was easy to use. Our number one thing that we love is that it is reliable. We have never had the vehicle in the shop for any repairs. We have done all scheduled maintenance and it has continued to be completely reliable. Another major perk were front and rear side impact air bags. Overall the vehicle is reliable, safe, and comfortable, you couldn't ask for more than that!

I love the roominess and amenities offered in this van. The quad seating is great with kids and provides plenty of leg room for the adults when needed. Remote start is great on cold wintry mornings and remote power sliding doors make it convenient when arms are full of grocery's!

Not enough power things. All in all it is a great family car with a lot of very convenient options. Handles and rides great. Lots of leg room. Sits high off the ground. Lots of power. Rides smooth. Easily removable seats.
