Performance: Runs great the only downfall is that I got a 4 Cylinder. Build Quality: It is built rather well, it is easy to repair and is light weight. Appearance: I have the nerf bars and roof racks and rainguards on every movable window, and a bug shield in front

The escape has great performance. The build quality is awesome. My favorite part about it is the sun/moon roof, and that it holds 6 CD's. The car is fun to drive in the summer, because you can go out on a nice day with all the windows down and sunroof open. The gas mileage isn't very good, but its not bad. there are not many maintenance costs involved.

Reliable car, great storage space, great in the snow. Under-powered (only a V-4), so will struggle when towing. OK gas mileage for an SUV (18-20 mpg). Would recommend hybrid version over standard, and V-6 over the 4 cylinder.
