The 2005 Chevrolet Malibu was one of Chevy's most popular entries in the midsize sedan class (although the hatchback version, the Malibu Maxx, never quite got the same traction with buyers). Three trims were available for the '05 Chevrolet Malibu: an entry-level Base trim as well as the more upscale LS and LT.
