Overview
It seemed that after all of the excitement surrounding its 35th Anniversary and the Cobra recalls in 1999, Ford needed to let its Mustang recover for a year. As a result, the 2000 Ford Mustang remained largely unchanged from the 1999 model. The only real excitement came from 2000 Cobra R. This car was made to race, not to drive through Manhattan. The 5.4-liter DOHC V8 achieved 385 horsepower, could go from 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds, and had a top speed of just under 175mph.

I love everything about this car. It wouldn't be for sale if I could afford to keep both vehicles. I purchased it for my daughters graduation gift (due to the fact it was a one owner) from a local female who sold it due to the fact she needed more room. My daughter is now a new mother, and this vehicle is not infant friendly.

It is an amazing car all around. Its very sleek looking! For the price, its done more than enough for me on Friday nights on empty streets with a few friends or challengers. I have an amazing pipe job on it so i wouldn't recommend public street racing, as you will attract every cop within 5 miles. :)

0-60 at 6.6sec, great handling, can go 120 mph without difficulty and change lanes at the same time...can keep up ride with 650s (for a while:) No squeeks, no rattles Like new inside & out. Kinda poor milage but it has an aftermarket turbo installed. Fun as hell.
