1998 Chevrolet Astro LS Passenger Van Extended Review
by Teresa

I love my van

I have owned 3 of these van's and I love them I am sad that Chevy no longer makes them. they are good on gas, lots of room. it seats up to 8 and still have cargo room. the whole family can load up and go look at Christmas lights or I can pull my jet ski to the lake

Avg. Dealer Rating: (5 reviews) "The sales manager uses NADA for trade values. Having said that, he ignores the condition of a car and just quotes the lowest end of the range given on NADA. After I was led to believe that a car I was interested in was possibly going to be sold, I drove two hours through freezing rain only to be given an offer so far out of line that I had no room to respond. When I later complained in writing, he responded with his final offer that was even lower than the first! Nevertheless I made a counter offer which was rejected. He was in a "meeting" and had the nice salesman Jim do his dirty work. The dealership is kind of small with an empty showroom the size of a kitchen, so I'm confused as to how he could have a meeting big enough so as to ignore a customer. My advice would be to avoid this place."
