Toyota dealerships near me (Freehold, NJ)

Car was in limp mode when I ended the test drive they tried to sell me a Toyota. Obviously a bait and switch tactic.

They wrote back right away and had a similar car I wanted. I bought it! They have been fantastic! Cesar and Youseff from the dealership are great!

Disorganized/Unfriendly (my opinion based on a voicemail): I inquired about a car, was told it was sold, end of what I thought the process was. Then I was contacted multiple times following up on said car, including a voicemail where the sales person sounded truly irritated to even be calling me. I had to point out that the car she kept calling about, she had already sold. *sigh* Such is “customer service” in most places lately, not surprising but you asked for feedback!

Joe and the seles team were really nice and professional. Felt car price for a Non Certified GX 460 was a bit too high.

I couldn’t get the car I wanted but they were honest about it. Most dealerships would want me to go there and say oh sorry it’s sold, but this one isn’t like them.

There was a young man named Yuchen who allowed me to test drive the vehicle with him. He was understanding & very nice easy to speak with. He took good care of me at Island Toyota & helped me with the loan application & told me upfront how much it will be per month & if I needed to put down anything for the car. I was a little uneasy but Yuchen comforted me & made this process easy & smooth for me. Great guy & his manager was also nice very chill to speak with. Tina was the one who reached out & if she hadn't I don't think I would have tried to get the car so I am thankful for her too. Overall I had a Comfortable experience while I was there. I do recommend especially if you are going to finance a Certified Pre Owned vehicle. - Carlos Ortiz
