Honda dealerships near me (Parsippany, NJ)

Started well with a young sales woman then was passed on the a “manager”. He came across as very aggressive and arrogant! I was willing to still move forward but had second thoughts when was greeted rudely on the day of my test drive. I’m leaving names out because my intent is only for those involved to learn and grow from this!

Shady. Called for a certain vehicle and they said it was sold, got a call back with in 2 min saying there’s only a deposit on it but that I can still buy it, expressed I don’t wanna waist my time if it’s already about to be sold. Went anyone because I like the car. Get there and their adding vin etching to the bill, they said it’s negotiable, took it off and upped the price to 26,995 to make the discount look good, make you feel like your getting a deal but the car isn’t worth it. Brings the car around and as I’m approaching it I see it’s faded on top. Whoever had this car before painted the top black and it’s cheap paint and faded. I didn’t even get in the and said no thank you, why would I pay over $20k for a car that looks like that. Doesn’t show any of that on the pictures. Complete waist of time and told her I’m coming from queens. I would recommend this place, not what I expect going to a big dealer under the Honda umbrella.

It was pretty bad experience overall . Considering the fact I drove an hour and a half to this location and the car I wanted to look at wasn't there. I received a phone call confirming my appt while I was on the belt parkway 45 min before I was due there. Then the sales team tried to sell me on a "similar" truck that was in older, had more miles and less options. They Could have saved me the frustration . Gas, tolls and time if they would have just checked the vehicle was there and not wasted my time. The entire experience felt like a Bait and switch and I was trapped to buy the other truck. Ended up Buying a truck back On Long island
